I think Jeff will come soon.(A)A. a few B. few C. a little D. little(4)In these shows, people use new forms of transportation all the time. 在这些节目中,人们一直使用新型的交通工具。form可数名词,意为“形式”。常用搭配:in the form of 意为“以的形式”。I dislike any form of exercise. 我讨厌任何形式的运动。We will help them in the form of money.我们会以钱的形式帮助他们。all the time意为“一直;向来”He studies well all the time.他一直学习很好。辨析: all the time 与alwaysall the time副词性短语,“一直,总是”,表示自某个特定阶段开始,一直到结束,不表示频率,常位于句末。always频率副词,“总是”,表示动作反复地发生,其反义词是never; 与进行时连用时,常带有不满、赞美等感情色彩。例:Children are singing and dancing all the time.孩子们一直在唱歌、跳舞。My mother always gets up early.我妈妈总是起床很早。5. 语法归纳:动词不定式没有人称和数的变化,在句子中不能作为主。动词不定式具有名词、形容词和副词的特征,在句子中可以作主语、宾语、表语、定语、状语和宾语补足语。它还具有动词的特点,可以有自己的宾语和状语。它的形式是“to+动词原形”,否定式为“not to+动词原形”。(1)动词不定式作主语。(动词不定式作主语时常用it作形式主语(it无词义),而把真正的主语即动词不定式后置。It+be+形容词+(for sb.)+动词不定式To learn a foreign language is important now.=It is important to learn a foreign language now. 现在学习一门外语很重要。It takes +sb. +some time to do sth. 结构表示“花费某人多少时间来做某事”。It takes him about half an hour to go to school by bike every morning.(2)动词不定式作宾语动词不定式一般不作介词宾语,常用词的拄,这些动词有want, begin, start, like,forget, learn, decide, wish, love mange, prefer, promise, remember, try, offer, plan等He began to learn French three years ago.三年前他开始学习法语。动词不定式用作宾语时,如果它的后面有宾语补足语,常用it作形式宾语,而把真正的宾语放在宾语补足语后面,句型为:主语+谓语+it +宾语补足语+动词不定式(短语)He found it hard to catch up with his classmates. 他发现赶上他的同学很难。在英语中有些动词或短语,如ask, know, tell, learn, find out, teach, show, explain, remember, wonder等后可接“疑问代词/副词+不定式”作宾语。Fathers Day is coming, but I havent decided what to buy for my father.父亲节快到了,但我还没决定要给爸爸买什么。(3)动词不定式作表语My job is to sell computers. 我的工作是卖电脑。(4) 动词不定式作定语,动词不定式可以作定语修饰名词,但通常要放在被修饰词的后面。I have many things to do.我有很多事情要做。(5)动词不定式作状语动词不定式作状语,常表示目的、原因、方法、方向、结果等。作状语表示目的I am gong to the shop to buy a present for my sister.我打算去商店为我妹妹买份礼物作状语表示原因He is very glad to meet you.见到你他很高兴。作状语表示结果表示结果状语的两个特殊句型:(a.)too.to.结构,意思是“太而不能”,too的后面可以加形容词或副词。My little brother is too young to look after himself.我弟弟太小了不能照顾自己。(b.)“形容词或副词+enough(for sb. )to do sth.”结构,意思是“(对某人来说)足够做某事”。The boy is old enough to go to school. 这个男孩够大了,可以去上学了。(6)动词不定式做宾语补足语有些动词,如ask,tell, teach, want等可接带to的不定式作宾语补足语,即构成ask/tell/teach/want.sb. to do sth.Mother told her son not to play in the street.母亲告诉儿子不要在街上玩。动词不定式在感官动词see,watch, hear, feel和使役动词let,make等词后面作宾语补足语时,常省去不定式符号to,另外在had better后也不带to, help后可带to也可不带to。Her mother makes her do her homework every evening.不定式用法助记:不定式有标记,to与动词连一起;主宾定表及状语,唯独谓语不可以;not加上不定式,否定结构要牢记;疑问词与不定式,构成短语有意义。Step Practice1.
